In 24 hours, PDoG creates yearlong impact that makes limitless opportunities possible for students, faculty, schools, colleges, places, experiences and more at all of Pitt’s campuses.
With PDoG-exclusive bonus funds and challenges that make gifts of any size go even further, it’s also the best day of the year to show your support for Pitt.
Last year, a record-setting 11,473 donors from all 50 U.S. states as well as 25 countries and five continents gave more than $2.4 million to dozens of areas across the University, funding scholarships, research, academic programs, student organizations, athletics and other vital initiatives.This year, the PDoG dream team is ready show the world the power of blue and gold pride.

Here’s how to join in
Make your gift starting Feb. 18 — early gifts count, too.
Watch our mascots pitch in via email and social. Bruiser, PJ, Pounce, the Pitt-Bradford Panther and Roc are all paws on deck.
Play our new video game. Choose a mascot, dash across campus and show off your #PDoG25 high score on social.
Prowl the Pittsburgh campus. Find a donor-sponsored Find-A-Panther plush, and you’ll get to choose any participating organization to receive $50.
Compete with pop-up trivia. Answer questions on the 10A Shuttle Route or in the William Pitt Union Quad to compete to win one of four $500 Challenge Prizes for your favorite Pitt organization.
Donate to Pitt Pantry. Bring a canned good or nonperishable food item to the William Pitt Union’s Jazz Hall of Fame and receive a free pair of PDoG socks while supplies last.
Attend Food Trucks Fest. Stop by the William Pitt Union Plaza and Quad for food, music and giveaways.
