Theatre, University and the Great Online in Italy

As resident theater director at the University of Padua, Lorenzo Maragoni faced the creative challenge of performing theater during the harsh lockdown Italy underwent during the first months of the COVID-19 outbreak. Under his artistic leadership, the theater company of the university moved to a virtual stage and managed to complete a successful series of performances.

Besides sharing his recent experience over a Zoom lecture open to all, Maragoni will lead one of the meetings of ITAL 1041, our own Italian Theatrical Workshop, which is currently facing creative and technical challenges similar to those he and his actors have overcome.

Sept, 29, noon. Advanced registration required.
