Student, Faculty, Staff Feedback on Tobacco Use Requested

Members of the University community are encouraged to complete a brief, online survey to share their views regarding the use of tobacco and tobacco alternatives (e.g., electronic cigarettes and vaping products) on campus.

The survey—sent out to students, faculty and staff—is completely voluntary and should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete. It includes several demographic questions at the beginning, but those may be skipped; the survey will remain anonymous unless participants choose to identify themselves.

Participants who submit the survey by Friday, Oct. 2, and provide contact information will be entered into a raffle to win one of fifteen $25 gift cards to the University Store on Fifth; contact information cannot be linked to responses to the survey.

For more information, contact emd55 [at] pitt.edu (Esa Davis), associate professor of medicine and chair of the University’s Ad Hoc Committee on Health and Well-being, which was formed last year by Chancellor Patrick Gallagher to address how Pitt can best promote the health and wellness of all members of the community.
