Staff Vacation Accrual Cap Lifted Through February 2021

The Office of Human Resources is continuing to lift the cap on vacation time accruals, extending the benefit through Feb. 28, 2021.

The accrual cap lift is retroactive to April 1, 2020, and applies to all non-represented staff.

Eligible staff may accrue vacation time at standard rates beyond the cap, affording them greater flexibility in the use of vacation time.

The vacation accrual cap will be reviewed monthly and any future changes to or decisions made about the cap will be communicated widely. This extension is an update to a previous communication that stated the cap would be reinstated on Dec. 1, 2020.
