New Pitt Commons Feature Offers Professional Development Opportunities

Pitt Commons—an online platform that allows the Pitt community to establish networking and mentoring relationships—is excited to introduce a new initiative called Projects on Pitt Commons. Projects is a virtual gathering place where users can post and find short-term professional opportunities in a community marketplace.

The program is fueled by alumni and other employment partners. From helping design a website to experience for financial analysts, the projects can help students and recent graduates get their foot in the door. Pitt Commons members get the chance to gain real-world experience and guidance from professionals—or provide that chance to others.
