Iris Marion Young Awards Ceremony on Jan. 27 Honors Social Activism

Celebrate student, staff and faculty social activism on Wednesday, Jan. 27, from 5-6:30 p.m. at the 2020-21 Iris Marion Young Awards for Political Engagement. Sponsored by the Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies Program in the Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences and the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs, this award recognizes that social activism takes many forms. Justice can be pursued in a variety of ways and places—in the classroom and workplace, in organizations, through specific projects, in academic scholarship, in politics and volunteer work. This event celebrates the work of the four award recipients.
