Free Virtual Backyard Composting Workshop

Interested in starting your own backyard compost, but don’t know where to start? 

This Pitt Green Home Office Lunch & Learn will cover the importance and benefits of composting, along with how to set up composting at home, proper maintenance and how to use finished compost. 

Attendees will be able to ask composting questions to resident experts from Pennsylvania Resources Council (PRC). 

Register to attend the Nov. 12 session from noon to 1 p.m. for free. 

Following the session, you'll be able to make your own collection system or purchase a discounted FreeGarden EARTH compost bin recommended by PRC.
