Community Engaged Scholarship Forum Proposals Due Next Friday

Friday, Nov. 20, is the deadline to submit workshop proposals and nominate partnerships and peers for awards for the 2021 Community Engaged Scholarship Forum, “Progress Through Partnerships: Advancing Community Resilience.”

Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to submit proposals that align with the following tracks and themes for this third-annual event:

  • Basic needs
  • Civic participation
  • Digital access and inclusion
  • Education
  • Health equity
  • Criminal justice reform
  • Relationships and our social fabric

The event—which will take place virtually on March 2, 2021—brings together Pitt and external community members to present their community-engaged work, discover new avenues of partnership and network with those who do similar work.

More information about the spring event is detailed online and includes short bios of featured speakers.
