Applications for Pitt Innovation Challenge Due May 3

Round one applications for the Pitt Innovation Challenge (PInCh) are due Monday, May 3, by 11:59 p.m.  

PInCh stimulates the translation of novel, problem-focused research into the community. Applicants from any discipline with projects that impact health are invited to apply. Topics can range from disease prevention and treatment to provider tools and community programs.

A total of $555,000 in awards is available, with one-year awards ranging from $25,000 to $100,000. In addition, each winning team will also receive project management support from the University of Pittsburgh’s Clinical and Translational Science Institute to help them move from idea to impact.

Does your solution help prevent or reduce health disparities? If so, it may be eligible for an additional award of up to $25,000.
